Throughout 8 years in business Baked By Alexandra is continuously evolving and changing. After moving from our commercial space during Covid we have now settled and created our perfect home studio space! Every year has bought immense challenges and learning curves but the last 12 months have seen some of the most exciting changes taking place and we are very pleased to be going from strength to strength.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Safe to say creativity runs in the family! Alex is often described as reminding her family of her Bampi who was an artistic soul and designed hand-painted shop signs for a living. Alex grew up baking with family and always enjoyed experimenting with different flavours and products. Being a design student saw her develop her design abilities and further her love for all things pretty and sparkly. Marrying these two passions together has been a dream come true for Alex and she continues to flourish and push herself and the business further.

  • Wedding cake!

    I get very sentimental about the flavours we had in our wedding cake! It’s too difficult to choose only one. Our choices were: Red Velvet & White Chocolate, Caramel & Coconut and Coffee & Amaretto. It brings back the BEST memories!

    An absolute classic! Beautiful chewy macraon shells are perfect with any filling - too many to choose a favourite!

  • Cherry Bakewell Blondies

    The ultimate treat for any Cherry Bakewell lover and one of our best-seller items! Fudgey Almond Blondie swirled with raspberry jam, topped with cherries and an icing drizzle - perfection!

ABOUT ME

I’m a Disney loving, cacti/succulent obsessed Sagittarius with a bit of an unpredictable spontaneous side. I love nothing more than going on new adventures with my husband, seeing beautiful places and trying out new things. Las Vegas owns my heart and I truly feel I was born at the wrong time in the wrong country! I’d love to move to America … perhaps one day! We love the NFL, Marvel movies, Italian food and music. We also love cocktails / rum / whiskey - baking new flavours inspired by cocktails are my favourite experimental bakes. We have two toy poodles that are our babies, we got married in Las Vegas and although I researched for months upon end we ultimately decided they sadly had to stay home so I incorporated them subtly into every part of the wedding possible. I absolutely live and breathe weddings and would give anything to be able to get married again and again, once a year on our anniversary! Chances are if you love any of the above / your event or celebration incorporates any of the above we will get on very well!
